2. Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy:
Monthly Payment for Regular Clients

This helps ensure I can plan my time fairly and maintain availability for all clients, especially during busy periods.
Cancellations for Monthly Clients

Cancellations due to genuine reasons (e.g., illness, emergencies) will be waived and carried over to the following month where possible.
-
Same-day cancellations or cancellations without a valid reason will not be credited or refunded, as the time has been reserved for your pet.

Weather-related cancellations are fully understood and exceptions will be made, particularly during extreme heat.

If you know in advance that you won’t need a service, please give as much notice as possible so I can adjust my schedule accordingly.
Cancellation Policy for Dog Walks & Home Visits

If warm weather is expected and you anticipate not needing a home visit or walk (e.g., in the afternoon), please inform me in advance.
-
I understand heat can affect plans, so if I message the day before and you need to cancel due to high temperatures, I will make exceptions.
-
However, if you’re aware of the forecast ahead of time and know you won’t need the service, I expect to be notified as early as possible.

To secure your booking, a 25% deposit of the total fee must be paid upfront.

7. Weather:
Summer Walk Policy
During the summer months, when temperatures exceed 21°C, I will cancel all regular walks. Instead, I’ll offer either an early morning walk (before it gets too hot) or a home visit for a toilet break in the garden and some indoor playtime.
-
I will continue with regular walks up to 19°C, but this will depend on each individual dog. Some dogs—especially certain breeds, older dogs, or those with health issues—may still struggle even at lower temperatures. I’ll assess each dog’s needs and adjust accordingly to keep them safe.
-
For days when the temperature is between 19°C and 21°C, walks will be shortened and I’ll drive to a shaded location for a brief, safe outing—again, depending on whether your dog can comfortably tolerate the heat.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping me keep your dogs safe and happy this summer!
-
In the event of muddy or rainy weather, I will reduce all walks by 10 minutes to allow time for rinsing and towel-drying your dogs afterward. This ensures they stay comfortable and clean when returning home.
